Petfood Forum China attendees learned from industry experts about pet nutrition, petfood safety, regulations, packaging and more.

The first Petfood Forum China drew more than 170 petfood professionals from China, Japan, Thailand, the US and Europe, exceeding the goal of organizers Petfood Industry and Watt Publishing. The conference was held October 12 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in conjunction with the annual Pet Fair Asia trade show.

Petfood Forum China's attendees gained insights from industry experts on topics from pet nutrition to petfood regulation and safety to petfood packaging. “The feedback from delegates was very complimentary on the high quality and diversity of presentations for the growing China marketplace,” said Greg Watt, president of Watt Publishing. “Sponsors stated how pleased they were in the level of decision maker and number of attendees from both multinational and local Chinese petfood manufacturers.”

Pet Fair Asia, celebrating its 15th year, drew more than 12,000 visitors from more than 20 countries and a record of more than 500 exhibitors.
